‘Do the same to Man U’ - Man City fans react in delight to star’s Twitter post

City fans here in the Tavern are starting to question their sides unbeaten streak, having come back from yet another unsettling position to force a late winner.

After having to find a late winner to beat Southampton in their last fixture you’d think they’d learnt their lesson, but were only to find themselves having to find yet another last-gasp winning goal. Indeed, having gone behind, a spirited second-half City response saw them show glimpses of a champion’s response, with a 2-1 win at the Etihad.

However, after cementing their position at the top of the tree as they enter the festive period, life in the light blue City shirt couldn’t be any better for fanatics here in the Tavern.

Veteran David Silva has become one of the standout players in this ever-attacking Manchester City side, having scored 2 and assisted 10 goals so far this season in his creative attacking midfield role. His impressive form doesn’t exactly look like slowing up anytime soon, after netting Super Sunday’s late winner to down bitter rivals United’s former gaffer, David Moyes.

Still, after such a positive response to going a goal down, Silva took to his personal Twitter handle to display the City spirit, and never give up mentality.
