Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for their manager Ronald Koeman to get in some top class players this summer as they aim to break into the top six.
The men from Goodison Park had a good season last year and now the onus is on them to try and break into the top teams in the league and challenge for things like Champions League qualification.
That, of course, is going to be no mean feat and our landlord would be impressed if they could do it but, to be fair, if anyone manages it it will be the Blues you feel.
Koeman, then, had better get looking for players but it also appears that he is well aware of the top young talent already at the club – thanks to England U20’s World Cup win.
Indeed, he congratulated them via his Twitter account and fans have certainly reacted to that – the best of which can be found below:
