‘Dream Glazer transfer’ - These Man Utd fans want club to land 1 goal, 1 assist World Cup man

It’s been an interesting summer for Man Utd so far. They’ve bagged a few signings already, with Fred undoubtedly the most high-profile, and given Jose Mourinho’s recent spending habits, it seems likely that a few more will join before the summer ends.

According to the Sun, one player that Man Utd would like to see join the club this summer is Swiss attacker Xherdan Shaqiri. Shaqiri got relegated with Stoke City last season, and he was undoubtedly the Potters’ best player during an otherwise poor campaign.

His solid form continued into the World Cup this summer, and though Switzerland were knocked out by Sweden in the round of 16, Shaqiri had a decent tournament. He bagged 1 goal and 1 assist, and he was one of his countries’ best performers.

Unsurprisingly, then, his future is a big topic of debate at the moment, and it’s fair to say that he’s popular amongst Man Utd fans.
