€17M Bid On The Cards For Song, But Surely Too Little?

According to this last weekend’s press this summer will herald what can only be described as a mass exodus from The Emirates. I’m struggling to believe any changes will be anywhere near as dramatic.

French Cameroonian midfielder Alexandre Dimitri Song is the target we are told then this morning of AS Roma. Is there some truth in this after all? Or are ITA Sportpress just out of their minds?

€17million is the price in mind for the attack minded player, but surely he’d have to be going stir crazy at Arsenal to want to take on such a new challenge. For all of Arsenal’s supposed woes this season, Champions League football is guaranteed for next season and the only thing that might really nudge this deal along is if Roma went all out and threw at least another €5M-€7M extra into any offer.
