The Everton supporters here in the Transfer Tavern have been on cloud nine for a few weeks now and European football looks set to arrive back at Goodison Park next season.
Ronald Koeman has worked wonders during his maiden campaign with the Toffees and the club’s supporters here in the Tavern are hopeful that some new recruits in the summer can consolidate their place as regular challenges for the Premier League’s top six.
It would appear, however, that the Toffees also face the real possibility of losing out on the youngster with Monaco reportedly set to press ahead with a move too and given their Champions League credentials they look a more favourable destination for the player.
It is bitter sweet news for the Toffees’ faithful here in the Tavern but one supporter is in philosophical spirits, stating that he trusts Koeman to attract the very best players in the transfer market even if Tielemans opts to go elsewhere.
