Everton fans drinking tonight in The Transfer Tavern are discussing reports that the club are considering a move for a promising Barcelona youngster.
Spanish website Don Balon are reporting that Roberto Martinez is interested in bringing Munir El Haddadi to Goodison Park.
The 20 year old began his career in the youth ranks of Atlético Madrid before transferring to Barcelona in 2011, where he won the 2013–14 UEFA Youth League. He made his debut for the B-team in March 2014, and scored in his first match for the senior team in August of that year. Munir earned his first cap for the Spanish national team in September 2014.
El Haddadi has gone on to make seven appearances for the Barcelona first team this season and has scored one goal.
The presence of Gerard Deulofeau at Goodison Park can only help make the youngsters mind up that he could further his career at Everton.
The Everton fans in The Transfer Tavern are more than happy with Martinez’s stance on bringing young talent at the club.
