Everton fans have been heaping praise on manager Carlo Ancelotti for his team’s turnaround in form since he joined the club.
The three-time Champions League winner was appointed in December following the sacking of Marco Silva, as the Toffees slipped into the relegation zone after a heavy 5-2 defeat against arch-rivals Liverpool at Anfield. The Portuguese boss ended his tenure with a win percentage of just 35.9% (according to BBC Sport) and finished his reign with three straight defeat and four points out of a possible 18, as per the Premier League.

Following the Blues’ 1-1 draw against West Ham United on Saturday, fans were quick to understand and appreciate the turnaround in the team’s form under the Italian’s leadership. Dave Downie on Twitter (via @Daviddownie17) praised Ancelotti for picking up 10 points from a possible 15 and described it as a “very good return”. Everton now sit 11th in the league standings, level on points with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
