Cenk Tosun has only played 35 minutes of Everton’s Premier League campaign so far but manager Marco Silva gave him a brief cameo in the Toffees Carabao Cup win.

Silva’s side comfortably beat Watford 2-0 at Goodison Park, advancing to the quarter-final where they will find out who they play on Thursday morning.
Goals from Mason Holgate and Richarlison gifted Everton a much-needed win to lift spirits in the midst of torrid league form – with the Toffees losing five out of their last six.
However, Tuesday night was a time of celebration following their progress in the Carabao, with a brief cameo appearance from the aforementioned Turkish star also seemingly lifting the mood among supporters.
Tosun, who scored three goals in 25 appearances for the blues last season, came on in place of Dominic Calvert-Lewin ten minutes from full-time.
As a result, fans praised the decision to bring him on and were happy with Silva’s generosity in giving the forward crucial minutes – with the Turkish international seen as a possible striking alternative in the coming months after displaying great form for his country.
