Many Everton fans have been discussing the ability of Marouane Fellaini, with some supporters claiming he was ‘underrated.’
Aged 32, the Belgian midfielder is currently playing football in the Chinese Super League, but he is fondly remembered for his time in the English Premier League with Everton and Manchester United.
Arriving at Goodison Park in 2008 from Standard Liege, Fellaini was said to have rejected interest from United, Aston Villa, Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich in favour of a move to Merseyside.

Spending six seasons with Everton, Fellaini would feature in 177 appearances, netting an impressive 33 goals in the process, and it was that form and consistency that saw an eventual move to Man United develop.
Six years at Old Trafford saw Fellaini have varied success, winning the Europa League in 2017 under the management of Jose Mourinho.
Leaving England for a move to Shandong Luneng Taishan in January 2019, Everton fans have now looked back on his time at the club, answering a debate which questioned his ability.

A real handful high up the pitch. But IMO not a great midfielder, because of his feet and he struggled getting around the pitch.

That’s a tough one coz he was never great at CM which was supposed to be his position but he produced the goods quite often when he played off the front
