Everton fans have been discussing Djibril Sidibe’s future as uncertainty surrounds the idea of a £12.7m permanent move to Goodison Park (via Liverpool ECHO).
The Frenchman was initially brought to the club on loan by Marco Silva in 2019, signing a one-year deal from Monaco with the option to make the move a full transfer at the end of the season (via BBC Sport).

Sidibe has been battling with Seamus Coleman for the first choice right-back position and has made 21 Premier League appearances this season. The 27-year-old has contributed to four league assists, as well as another in the EFL Cup earlier this term (via Transfermarkt).

However, Everton fans aren’t sold on the idea of keeping Sidibe for good and do not want to see talks of a permanent deal come to fruition. One fan has stated that he has ‘already proved he’s terrible’, whilst another has begged the club to send him back to Monaco as he is a ‘waste of money’.
Waste of money! Send him back

If we buy a player as bad as this then loans are pointless,he’s already proved he’s terrible, how much evidence do we need? 🙈
