Andre Gomes has become a regular in the Everton midfield since joining from Barcelona in the summer, and the fans have let him know they are right behind him and the team ahead of Saturday’s trip to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Gomes, who signed on a season-long loan deal last season, then made the move permanent, was one of the standout performers during the Toffees crucial 2-0 victory over West Ham United last weekend – posting more dribbles than anyone else on the pitch and delivering a robust display that drew eight fouls from the Portuguese as Everton kept the Hammers quiet.
The 26-year-old has also compiled incredible passing statistics, with an average of 82.7% of them being successful so far this season, as per WhoScored.com.
Posting to social media, Gomes outlined the fact his side are not resting on their laurels – and they are working every day to improve form and possibly challenge for a top-six place.
Understandably. after a poor start to the campaign, fans are underwhelmed with their prospects – but after last weekend’s dominating win, there could be hope on the horizon.
