Lots of Everton fans are fuming as Alan Myers revealed that a decision on whether the Merseyside derby against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool can be played at Goodison Park could be made as early as Wednesday, as per his Twitter page.
The journalist also relayed comments made by Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson, who confirmed that he is hopeful that he can arrange a meeting, subject to the requested information being with him and his colleagues, of the ground safety advisory group for Wednesday morning, to then make a final decision in everyone’s interest.
The fixture is currently pencilled in to take place at Goodison on Sunday 21 June, with a 7pm kick-off.

There may potentially be fears of a mass gathering around the stadium during the fixture, as the Reds could possibly clinch the Premier League title there providing that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal can beat Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium with the way the top flight table currently looks at the moment, as per the BBC.
These Toffees fumed upon reading the news, as their team may not be able to have a home advantage against their bitter rivals, despite their being no supporters present, if the match is played at a neutral ground:
