As the uncertainty of the Premier League continues to raise speculation, a report has declared that the remainder of the term must be played in neutral venues.
According to reports, eight venues across the country have been green-lighted as suitable grounds to host the remaining Premier League fixtures. However, not all clubs are on board with this idea, with Aston Villa being the latest side to voice their opposition towards continuing the campaign this way (via The Guardian).

A new statement has announced that the 2019/20 Premier League season will be voided unless an agreement is made to play on neutral soil (via Daily Mail). There are 92 fixtures remaining in this campaign and they must be played in stadiums ‘away from densely-populated residential areas’.
Everton fans haven’t responded well to the idea of playing their remaining fixtures on unfamiliar territory. One supporter has branded the proposal as ‘farcical’ whilst another has described the situation as an ‘absolute shambles’.

Farcical idea, sporting integrity and fairness right out the window. Good on the 8 clubs for making a stand. It’s hard enough without fans but not playing in your own ground is a step too far. Will they start the new season on the same basis then switch when safe, again unfair.

Where is the players choice in this? Do they have one? People talk about their safety but have they a choice? Much critism for employers not giving employees choices in the world so do football people/players get a choice?

Said since march that June 30th should have been the cut off point to have it done,but adding all little bits and pieces true or not and then this silly play at 10 neutral grounds is pointless as you lose home advantage no matter what way they twist it to suit themselves
