Lots of Everton fans have been hailing some comments made by James Rodriguez as he gave his first interview after signing for the Merseyside club from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Speaking in the interview, Rodriguez said (via Twitter):
“I can see these fans are real, true supporters. What they can be sure of is I am going to give everything in every game situation: every play, every build-up. I will be trying my absolute best.”
Indeed, these are encouraging words for the members of the Goodsion Park faithful, as they will be hoping that the Colombian international can hit the ground running straight away under Carlo Ancelotti.

Rodriguez is very familiar with his Italian boss, having played in 51 games under him before for Los Blancos and UEFA Champions League winners Bayern Munich, in which the 29-year old scored a relatively impressive 18 goals and made a further 19 assists in all competitions over two terms, according to Transfermarkt.

EFC supporters will be hoping that Ancelotti can get the best out of him once again as they await his debut in the new 2020/21 season.
