Many Everton fans have been hailing Ellis Simms as a video emerged from the official Twitter page of the Goodison Park faithful showing him scoring for the U23s against Chelsea.
As per the clip, the 19-year-old finished off a decent move by the Merseyside club from the inside of the penalty box.

That is now six goals for Simms in just seven games so far in the 2020/21 term (Transfermarkt), and some EFC supporters have started to think as to whether he should now be getting an opportunity in the first team under Carlo Ancelotti.

If Dominic Calvert-Lewin or Richarlison were to get injured or misfire for a sustained period of time, the Toffees only really have Cenk Tosun as a back-up striker, and so perhaps giving Simms a go in the squad would be a wise idea.
Everton fan reaction to Simms goal
These Blues hailed Simms after seeing the footage of his goal on Twitter, with one fan even claiming that the Englishman is an ‘absolute goal machine’:
This lad should be given a chance in the first time now. Absolute goal machine.
