Many Everton fans have been left hailing a verdict from Jamie Carragher on whether the Goodison Park faithful can qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Speaking on Monday Night Football (via Toffee TV), the Liverpool legend claimed: “This could be the year Everton get in the Champions League”, which certainly put a smile on the faces of several supporters of the Merseyside club.

Carlo Ancelotti’s team currently sit in a fairly comfortable sixth place in the Premier League table on 32 points, three clear of seventh-placed Chelsea and just two off of fourth-placed Liverpool in the automatic Champions League qualification spots (Sky Sports).
It is certainly a nice feeling for the Toffees that they are being taken seriously in terms of qualifying for the Champions League and that it is being discussed by the media.
