Loads of Everton fans have been hailing a transfer link to Jasper Cillessen as Spanish football journalist Hector Gomez claimed on his official Twitter page that the Merseyside club as well as German outfit Bayer Leverkusen are both interested in signing the Valencia CF ace in the summer window.
Indeed, the 31-year old has had a fine career so far playing for the likes of European giants Ajax and FC Barcelona, as he won two La Liga titles with the latter as well as several other domestic trophies, according to Transfermarkt.

He has also been a regular for the Dutch national team, racking up no fewer than 54 appearances for the Netherlands since his debut in 2013 under former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, as per the website.

Cillessen has a lot of pedigree in the beautiful game, and thus may be a good addition to the squad by Carlo Ancelotti to compete with Jordan Pickford for the number one spot in between the sticks.
These EFC supporters hailed the news as they perhaps feel that Pickford needs to be challenged:
I’d take him
