Everton fans have been showering the Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov after he paid £30m for the naming rights on the new stadium.
The business partner of the majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri strengthened his ties with the club after he made a significant investment into the club’s new site at the Bramley-Moore Docks. The new structure is scheduled to be completed in time for the 2023/24 season, as per BBC. Usmanov’s company USM already sponsors the Toffees’ Finch Farm training complex and has paid to have the business attached to the new stadium name.
USM, the company founded by Alisher Usmanov and partners, including Everton owner Farhad Moshiri, has paid £30m to secure an option to purchase naming rights for proposed new stadium at Bramley Moore.

Usmanov recently sold his shares at Arsenal to American billionaire Stan Kroenke which made him the sole shareholder at the Emirates Stadium. As a result, he decided to place his funds into the Merseysiders as they are due to leave Goodison Park after 131 years. Supporters were delighted with Usmanov’s actions and made their feelings clear on social media.
