Everton fans have responded to previous remarks made by journalist Mark Ogden after Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola heaped praise on Carlo Ancelotti.
The Italian was recently appointed as the new boss at Goodison Park, which made the Gwladys Street faithful explode in delight after the news was announced.
Ancelotti described the Spanish head coach as a ‘genius’, to which Guardiola responded by saying he was not. He also added that the three-time Champions League winner was “one of the smartest guys” and labelled him as an “incredible gentleman”.
This all comes after the ESPN journalist Mark Ogden said that Everton “need a reality check”, and that the newly-appointed West Ham United manager David Moyes “is the best they can get”.
Supporters reminded Ogden of the comments that he previously made by making their feelings clear on social media.
