Loads of Everton fans were delighted after Carlo Ancelotti spoke openly about the plans with his side over the course of his contract.
The 60-year-old Toffees manager recently made the move to Merseyside to take over from Marco Silva, who was dismissed in December. Since his arrival, he has gone on a stunning run that has seen the team shoot up the Premier League into seventh and move in contention for European football next season.
Ancelotti told the club’s official website that he fully intends to see out his four-and-a-half-year deal and stated that he would like to stay longer, if possible. The Italian added that his vision sees Everton at the top of the table, fighting for titles and battling to be competitive in Europe. As a result, many supporters were beyond excited for what the future holds with their club as the Italian further implements his philosophy into his side. One fan said that reading about the three-time Champions League winner makes him excited.
