Loads of Everton fans have been lauding Ben Godfrey as the official Twitter page of the Goodison Park faithful posted a video of him reacting to the 1-0 win versus Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday night.
The Merseyside club captioned their tweet with “Ben Godfrey. Looking every bit an Everton player – and with the right attitude to match,” after the former Norwich City ace praised the fans and the characters in the dressing room and also commented on how happy he was to fill in at left-back for Carlo Ancelotti’s team.

A central defender by trade, the 22 year-old put in a heroic display for his side, winning four of his duels as well as recording two clearances and five interceptions (Sofascore) to help the Toffees on the way to a clean sheet against one of the traditional ‘big six’.
Godfrey will now look to replicate his performance given the chance away at Leicester City, where the Blues will be looking to gain another massive three points against good opposition.
