Some Everton fans have been lauding Cenk Tosun as Carlo Ancelotti commented on his situation at Goodison Park to evertontv.
As per the outlet, the Italian boss said with regards to the Turkey international:
“We need Cenk for some games, he is a good striker in the box, really good, really efficient in the box.
“It is good to have him back.”
Indeed, perhaps it is surprising that Ancelotti has said that he still needs Tosun for some matches, given that the 29 year-old has only made one appearance under him (Transfermarkt).

Nonetheless, he can still offer a goal threat, given that he has scored a total of 136 senior goals combined for both club and country over the course of his footballing career.

Signed by Sam Allardyce for a reported £27m back in 2018, there is still plenty of time for Tosun to show exactly why the Merseyside club spent so much money on him.

If he was quicker and stronger he’d be Orite because he is a good finisher. Would of rather kept kean but atleast we’ve got a striker on the bench
