Carlo Ancelotti claimed that Gbamin may be fit to play for the Goodison Park faithful by the end of November, which may come as a boost to some EFC supporters after original fears he could miss another entire season.

The 25-year old has had a quite poor injury record dating back to his playing time with RC Lens and Mainz, and he missed a quite staggering 42 matches in total for the Toffees in the 2019/20 season, according to Transfermarkt.

However, in the 2018/19 campaign before his move to the Blues, Gbamin won a rather impressive 5.3 of his duels per match in the Bundesliga, and also averaged 1.6 tackles and one interception per game (via Sofascore).
