Indeed, the right-back has spent the current 2019/20 season on loan at FC Schalke o4 in Germany, and has arguably impressed. The 23-year old has featured in 32 games in all competitions so far for the German team, scoring two goals and making a further three assists, according to Transfermarkt.

His relatively impressive displays so far have been hailed by his current manager and former Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner, who spoke to the i newspaper about the Englishman, claiming that he is close to being a fan favourite at Schalke despite him only being there for a relatively short period of time on loan.

One EFC supporter even suggested to ‘sell Coleman’ to make room for Kenny to return to Goodison Park, which are rather high plaudits considering that the Irish international and club captain is arguably fan favourite himself with the 310 matches in all competitions that the 31-year old has played in across 11 consecutive terms, as per Transfermarkt.
