Many Everton fans have been lauding the latest news coming from the Daily Telegraph that both Carlo Ancelotti and Marcel Brands will be working together to get the recruitment right in the upcoming summer transfer window.
As per the outlet, the Italian manager has a good relationship with the Director of Football at the Merseyside club, and also admitted that he would like to strengthen the squad in all of the areas of the pitch.

Indeed, the Toffees may want to improve on their recruitment in last summer’s window, where they spent over £100 million on new players, but currently sit rather disappointingly in mid-table in the Premier League with just one game left to play.
Alex Iwobi was the most expensive new arrival, but the former Arsenal man has only managed to score two goals and make a mere one assist in 29 matches in all competitions so far in the 2019/20 season (via Transfermarkt).

Indeed, the 24-year old is perhaps just one example of the arguably poor recruitment over the years, as these members of the Goodison Park faithful lauded the fact that the transfer policy may be improved this summer with involvement from Ancelotti:
That sounds like it would be good for a football club for the manager and the director of football cause they will trust each other with the decisions they make.

That’s a start anyway. As moshiri has less involvement in player recruitment now then. Last year he wanted Zaha and brands didn’t
