Everton: Fans mock West Ham for reappointing David Moyes as the club’s manager

Everton fans have been mocking former manager David Moyes after he rejoined West Ham United for the second time in 18 months.

This comes after boss Manuel Pellegrini was sacked following his side’s 2-1 defeat against Leicester City at the London Stadium and Moyes himself was linked with the Goodison Park job prior to Carlo Ancelotti’s appointment.

Moyes left the Hammers first time around during the 2017/18 campaign after recording nine wins and 10 draws from 31 games in his first spell, leading the club to Premier League safety.

The Scotsman was in charge of Everton for 11 years before he was personally selected by the retiring Sir Alex Ferguson to take charge of Manchester United, but was sacked after a 2-0 defeat at Goodison Park against his former side.

Supporters were quick to poke fun at the former long-serving Blues gaffer and made their feelings clear on social media.

One fan said that he should “make himself comfortable” following his comments about being home at the London Stadium, while another said that the Hammers are welcome to have Moyes back.

Here you will find some of the best comments from Everton fans:
