Everton forward Moise Kean has said he ‘didn’t fully understand’ the rules of the current UK lockdown and has apologised to Marcel Brands and Carlo Ancelotti.
According to The Athletic, the 20-year-old was unaware of the extent of the enforced lockdown rules and was ‘genuinely remorseful’ for his actions.

The Italian hosted a house party in April and videos emerged from Kean’s Snapchat that he took on the night (via The Mirror). Brands reportedly explained immediately that the player’s actions were completely unacceptable as a role model and Everton player. Kean has since apologised and stated he did not fully understand the rules as his English is still a work in progress.
A number of Blues fans are torn over the recent update, with some on Kean’s side while others are not buying the excuse. One supporter has commented that people should ‘deal with it and move on’ whilst another thinks that his backers are ‘just making excuses’ now.
