Everton made seven signings during the summer transfer window, but only Richarlison has so far managed to make an impact at the club.
Kurt Zouma, Bernard and Lucas Digne are being eased into the team by manager Marco Silva, but it could be some time before Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina have a chance to make their mark at Goodison Park like how Richarlison has done.
Everton’s new Portuguese boss has confirmed on the club’s official website that the pair are expected to be unavailable until September with £27m-rated (via Transfermarkt) Mina suffering with a small foot problem.
Given Phil Jagielka’s suspension following his red card against Wolves and Michael Keane’s lack of form since joining the club back in 2017, Silva would have been desperate to have Mina at his immediate disposal.
In the meantime, though, the former Watford head coach still has Zouma and Mason Holgate to call upon, as well as Keane.
