Everton suffered a humiliating defeat to Tottenham in the Premier League yesterday after they shipped in six goals against Mauricio Pochettino’s men at Goodison Park.
After a promising start to the game thanks to Theo Walcott’s opener, it was total collapse for the home side who ended the match on the wrong end of a 6-2 scoreline and now sit in the bottom half of the table.
And at the centre of the club’s disappointing loss was goalkeeper Jordan Pickford who was at fault for Son Heung-min’s well-taken equaliser following a huge mix-up with Kurt Zouma.
All in all, it was a poor performance by Pickford on the day with the England No.1 currently far from being on the top of his game.
The 24-year-old was also at fault for the goal his side conceded versus Liverpool in the most recent Merseyside derby, further showing he still has a long way to go despite impressing over the summer at the World Cup and last season.
Have a look at what Everton supporters are saying on their club’s No.1 shot-stopper below…
Cheers Pickford. Another shocking display again

Pickford always parries back into danger. That’s two goals he’s cost us today. Sell him in January he’s a liability.

Needs to bin his rave on and get his brains on, Joel Robles was better

Should have sold him after the WC when his stock peaked. Goal keepers are meant to be worth 10 points a season. So far HE has cost us around that. He’s a disaster waiting to happen
