A number of of Everton fans have been lauding Jean-Philippe Gbamin as a video of his work in the gym was shared by Toffee TV on their Twitter page.
The Ivory Coast international is currently trying to recover from an injury setback, with Carlo Ancelotti hoping that he can be fit to play by the end of next month.

Gbamin has had a rather poor injury record dating back to his playing time with both Mainz and Lens, and he missed a staggering 42 games in total for the Goodison Park club last season (Transfermarkt).

Nonetheless, the 25-year old arguably still has a lot to offer the Merseysiders, as in the 2018/19 season before his move to the Toffees from Mainz, Gbamin won a quite impressive 5.3 of his duels per game in the Bundesliga and also averaged 1.6 tackles and one interception per match (Sofascore).
