Everton: Fans rage at link to Juventus man Sami Khedira

Some Everton fans have been left raging at the latest update in their ongoing links to Sami Khedira as Juventus reportedly want to terminate his deal.

That is according to Tuttosport (via Sport Witness), who say that the Old Lady hoped to do it last month when the central midfield player informed them that, despite being left out of the squad for the UEFA Champions League, he would be staying with the Italian giants.

Although talks of terminating his contract failed, Juve still want to save themselves between €5-6m (£4.5-5.4m) in paying his wages for the last six months.

Khedira would like to move to the Premier League, with the Goodison Park faithful apparently thinking more and more seriously about making a move for the 2014 FIFA World Cup winner.

However, this has angered some supporters of the Merseyside club, who do not want to see the Toffees sign a 33 year-old.

These Blues raged upon reading the update on Khedira on Twitter, with one EFC fan even claiming that the German midfielder is ‘another Delph’ given that the latter is also in his 30s, while another described him as ‘finished’:
