Everton fans have rubbished talk that the club will bring in former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino to take over from Marco Silva.
The Portuguese manager was sacked after his side’s humiliating 5-2 defeat against neighbours Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday, leaving the Toffees in the relegation zone with nine defeats from their first 15 Premier League games.
Duncan Ferguson will take charge of the team’s game against Chelsea on Saturday, while the club have stated that they look to bring in a permanent manager as soon as possible.
After being dismissed from his Spurs post, The Times has revealed that the Argentinian manager is on the Merseyside club’s radar.

Pochettino brought some of the best times in the Premier League era to the north London side, as well as guiding his team to the Champions League final last season.
The Athletic has reportedly claimed the Argentine is not interested in the position, and the fans below will certainly not be surprised:
We may have, but I can’t see him coming. No harm in trying though!
