Everton: Fans react to final designs of Bramley-Moore Dock stadium

Everton fans have been reacting with glee after the final designs of the new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium were released to the public.

The club’s chief executive Denise Baxendale-Barrett described their new 52,000-seater stadium as a ‘profound statement of intent’, which will sit two-and-a-half miles away from the Old Lady, Goodison Park.

After unveiling the three-time Champions League winner Carlo Ancelotti as the Toffees’ new manager, the Merseyside club made another announcement that greatly pleased the Gwladys Street faithful.

The estimated cost of the stadium is £500m and vowed to build an arena that will take the Blues to the next level.
