Lots of Everton fans have been reacting to an injury update on James Rodriguez ahead of their side’s game against Manchester United.
As revealed by Carlo Ancelotti, who was speaking to the media in his pre-game press conference ahead of the match, the former Real Madrid ace has still not recovered from his injury setbacks and as such, he will not be available for selection for the clash tonight.

The attacking midfield player will surely be a big miss to the Goodison Park faithful, given that he has scored three goals and made a further four assists in 11 appearances in all competitions so far for the Merseyside club in the 2020/21 season (Transfermarkt). He could have been the man to provide the creative spark needed to unlock the defence of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.
Nonetheless, the Toffees will now have to find a way to get through to the Carabao Cup semi-finals without the Colombia international.
