He’s played two and a half games, but Everton may already be willing to let him go.

According to Tuttosport (via Sport Witness), loanee Djibril Sidibe hasn’t done enough to impress the Toffees board and is more than likely set to be returned to parent club AS Monaco.
The news may come as a shock to some considering he’s only played a handful of games for the club so far and virtually none in the Premier League – making just a thirty-minute cameo off the bench in the league.
When the Frenchman was about to sign with the Merseyside club on loan in the summer transfer window, there was a sense of excitement among some fans (via HITC) – especially considering Sidibe was part of that famous Monaco team that won the league in 2016/17.
However, despite the fact he hasn’t really been given a run in the team, Goodison Park’s hierarchy have already seen enough and may be willing to let him return and go out on loan to AC Milan instead.
Predictably, most Everton fans don’t understand the reasoning behind this, and have had their say on social media:
I thought he looked ok

He’s great going forward but his defensive positioning has been meh. Don’t think he’s been poor enough to end the loan though. He’s barely gotten a chance.

He’s done better than Coleman when I’ve seen him.

If he can’t get in over Coleman he must be awful in training and not worth the 80 or so grand he’s getting paid.
