According to the Liverpool Echo, the Goodison Park faithful are sweating on his fitness as he had to be substituted off for Brazil in their 2-0 win over Uruguay after a quite brutal challenge from Manchester United star Edinson Cavani, which saw him get sent off.

Indeed, there is no doubt as to how big of a player he is for the Merseyside club, given that he has scored four goals and supplied a further two assists in just seven games over all competitions in the 2020/21 term so far (Transfermarkt).
Nonetheless, Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping that the 23 year-old is fit enough to play a part against Scott Parker’s side, with the next couple of days looking crucial in determining that.
