BBC Sport has released their all-time Premier League Everton squad with a mention of Tim Cahill in midfield. Blues fans are delighted with the decision to put the club icon in the team.
The Australian joins the likes of Neville Southall and Mikel Arteta in this all-time Everton XI – making up a squad of Premier League cult heroes.

Cahill made a total of 276 appearances in an Everton shirt, amassing 68 goals and 29 assists in the eight years he was with the Merseyside outfit (via Transfermarkt).
Fans are loving the choice of the 40-year-old in the squad, with many flocking to show their appreciation for his services to the club. One Blue has said the current team needs a player of Cahill’s calibre in the ranks, with another saying it was ‘never in doubt’ that the midfielder would be selected for the team.
