Everton fans have been looking back on their famous 2-1 win over Liverpool in 1995, with both goals coming from debutant Andrei Kanchelskis.
The Toffees obtained one of their very few victories at Anfield in the Premier League era that year. A brace from the former Manchester United midfielder helped the Blues to their first win against their hated neighbours across Stanley Park for eight years.
It went down as one of the most memorable derby wins in the club’s history and solidified the bragging rights to the blue corner of Merseyside.

Kanchelskis, who was the talking point after the game, went on to score 20 goals in 52 appearances in all competitions for the club, before eventually moving to the Italian side Fiorentina.
