It has been reported that Ronald Koeman has suffered ‘chest complaints’ and is currently in hospital, but his condition is not thought to be life-threatening (via BBC Sport).
As a result of falling ill in his home in the Netherlands, the former Everton manager has undergone ‘successful cardiac catheterisation’. Koeman is expected to return home safely and will require a few days of rest in order to recover.

The 57-year-old joined Everton in 2016 from Southampton and spent 16 months with the club before his dismissal in October 2017. The Dutchman registered 19 wins out of his 47 games in charge, drawing 12 and losing 16 (via Planet Football).
Koeman took over as head coach of the Netherlands national team in 2018, replacing Dick Advocaat after he failed to secure qualification to the World Cup that same year.
