Loads of Everton fans have been slamming Fabian Delph after the Liverpool Echo reported that he has been forced to miss parts of training this week because he picked up a muscle strain.

As per the outlet, the central midfield player is hoping to return to training as early as next week but at this stage, there is a question mark over his availability in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool on Sunday 21 June.

Indeed, this news adds to the injury issues that the Toffees have, to the extent that several members of the Blues faithful have even been asking for the club to sell Delph in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The £10.8 million-valued man has had plenty of injuries before during his times with Aston Villa and Manchester City, and it seems like the trend will not stop with EFC.

With no goals or assists to show in 20 games in all competitions so far in the 2019/20 season, on top of the injury worries, perhaps Delph should be moved on.

One fan even claimed that he was the ‘worst signing ever’, and at a cost of £8.55 million, perhaps he is not far off.

These supporters slammed the English international on Twitter:
