Everton: Fans slam Yerry Mina as he sees red for Colombia versus Uruguay

Some Everton fans have been slamming Yerry Mina as he got himself a red card for Colombia in a 3-0 loss to Uruguay in a game where James Rodriguez also featured.

Indeed, it was not a display that would have pleased members of the Goodison Park faithful, as the 26 year-old failed to make a single tackle in the entire match, as he earned himself a quite measly 6.1 overall rating by Sofascore.

This has led some supporters of the Merseyside club to question as to whether he is actually good enough to be playing for Carlo Ancelotti’s team, and with the central defender winning just 0.4 tackles on average per appearance in the Premier League so far in the 2020/21 term, perhaps they have a point.

Nonetheless, it was not a performance that will inspire Toffees when he returns from the international break, especially with Mason Holgate lying in wait.
