The return of the Bundesliga provided the exact football fix many fans were looking for, but many Everton fans aren’t happy with Jonjoe Kenny’s performance.
The Merseyside local started for Schalke on Saturday against a fiery-looking Dortmund in the first Bundesliga match day since March. After Erling Haaland scored the opener, the visiting side’s return to action became a nightmare.

Three more goals made it past the Schalke defence and BVB fans enjoyed their huge statement win (via BBC Sport). Kenny is currently on loan with the German outfit and is due to return to Goodison Park this summer. However, Everton fans weren’t impressed with his display at the weekend.

The 23-year-old earned a match rating of 6.9 after making four tackles but losing possession nine times in the 87 minutes he played (via Sofascore).
Blues fans have hung him out to dry for his performance and many don’t want to see him stay at the club. One fan has predicted Kenny will ‘end up on loan in the Championship next season’ whilst another simply said he looked ‘awful’ in the game.
