Everton: Fans blast Gylfi Sigurdsson miss vs Burnley

Many Everton fans have been blasting Gylfi Sigurdsson for his miss in the final few minutes versus Burnley in the Premier League.
The Goodison Park faithful ended up drawing the game 1-1 against Sean Dyche’s team, in the end, thanks to an equaliser from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, which cancelled out a very early opening goal from Robbie Brady.
Should Everton cash in on Sigurdsson?
Yes

No

However, if Sigurdsson has just put his chance away, the Merseyside club could have ended up leaving Turf Moor with all three points and thus, would have climbed higher up the table.
Nonetheless, the attacking midfield player missed his chance in front of goal, which has left several Toffees questioning as to how he did not manage to score.
Everton fan reaction to Sigurdsson miss
These EFC supporters blasted Sigurdsson for missing his good opportunity to score on Twitter, with one Blue even claiming that the Iceland international was ’embarrassing’:
I think he simply chose not to score because he knows we don’t want him there.

I dont understand why he went cross goal. If he tried to tuck it in the near corner he scores easily. Perfectly sums up his last few years.

I expected nothing else he had a choice of right or left and he picked the middle 🤡

Worst player I’ve ever seen in an Everton shirt. https://t.co/FFeejGOEJw

Yes it does. He missed a sitter. Not good enough. Needs to be sold in January.
