Lots of Everton fans have been left hailing a club update involving their new proposed stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

As per the official website of the Goodison Park faithful, the planning applications of the Merseyside club for the new ground as well as a community-led legacy project were unanimously approved by Liverpool City Council.

Should Everton move to Bramley-Moore Dock?

The new waterfront stadium will be able to hold a capacity of 52,888 people and after a two-hour meeting in which the chief executive Denise Barrett-Baxendale took part, the decision to grant its approval brings the project a significant step nearer to being completed.

Although a lot of supporters of the Toffees will have cherished memories of going to Goodison Park with their friends and families, the opportunity of moving into a brand new ground is a very exciting prospect for some of them.
