Everton: Fans speculate over Jean-Phillipe Gbamin after Carlo Ancelotti comments

Many Everton fans are speculating whether Jean-Philippe Gbamin will ever play for the Goodison Park faithful again after Carlo Ancelotti’s latest comments.
Speaking in his pre-game press conference ahead of the home tie versus Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup on Sunday night, the Italian boss said (via Phil Kirkbride): “We have to look at him day by day. Soon he can be able to train with us. We don’t want to put pressure on him. He will come back.”
Does Gbamin have a future at Everton?
Yes

No

While Ancelotti’s comments are initially promising, they have still left several supporters of the Merseyside very sceptical over his return.
Back in October, the former Chelsea coach said that Gbamin could be fit to play at the end of November, but we are now in January of 2021.
With his quite dreadful injury record, coupled up with the fact that he has not played a game for the Toffees since August 2019 and the Blues have now signed Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure who can play in his position, many EFC fans have been speculating as to whether that was his last match for the club.
Everton fan reaction to Gbamin comments
These supporters speculated on Twitter after reading Ancelotti’s comments on the central midfield player:
“I’ve come to terms now with the fact we aren’t gonna see him in an Everton shirt again.”
“Surely it’s an insurance reason or something as to why we haven’t terminated his contract already? Can’t see him ever playing for us again in all honesty.”
“Not sure we’ll ever see Gbamin play for us again but really hope he catches a break! The 2 injuries he’s had are as bad as they can get”
“Something not right if you ask me. He was returning imminently months ago.”
“Not happening him, was meant to be back in training 2 months ago”
“Starting to doubt this lad will ever play professional football again”
