Many Everton fans have been calling for Kieran Dowell to return to Goodison Park from his current loan spell at Wigan Athletic after Sky Sports (via Toffee TV) shared clips of his hat-trick versus Hull City in their 8-0 win in the EFL Championship.
The 22-year old arguably took all three of his strikes well which now means that he has scored four goals in total and made two assists in 11 games in all competitions for the Latics so far in this 2019/20 season, according to Transfermarkt.
One EFC supporter even claimed that he was ‘better than Davies’ on Twitter, with another Blue claiming that he would ‘rather watch him than Gylfi’.

Dowell has averaged 1.6 key passes and 0.8 successful dribbles per match in the Championship so far in this term, more than what both Davies and Sigurdsson are averaging in the Premier League at the moment, as per Whoscored.
Yes, both leagues are of different quality, but the attacking midfield player has perhaps given Carlo Ancelotti something to think about when he returns.

These Toffees certainly want Dowell to come back, with one fan even pleading for the Englishman to ‘come home’:
We need him for next season
