Everton: Fans buzz as Nicolo Schira says Allan has chosen Toffees
Loads of Everton fans have been left buzzing by the news coming from Nicolo Schira that Allan only wants to sign for the Merseyside club.
As per a tweet from the journalist, the SSC Napoli ace has agreed personal terms with Carlo Ancelotti’s team worth €6 million a year, which is the equivalent of around £5.4 million.
Schira also claimed that the Toffees have raised their bid to €30 million, which equates to roughly £27 million.
However, the chairman of the Naples side, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has asked for €35 million (£31.4 million) or the addition of several bonuses to close the deal.
Indeed, this comes after previous reports have stated that the Blues are close to reaching an agreement with the Italian club, and now it looks like they may well get the man for whom they have been targeting all summer.
The 29-year old Brazilian would arguably be an upgrade on the current central midfield players at Ancelotti’s disposal at Goodison Park, as he averaged more tackles and key passes than Fabian Delph, Tom Davies and Andre Gomes in their respective domestic leagues in the 2019/20 season, according to Whoscored.
