Many Everton fans have been left to laud a transfer update from Fabrizio Romano on Max Aarons.
As per a tweet from the Italian football journalist and transfer guru, the Goodison Park faithful ‘want’ the Norwich City star and are ‘working’ on a possible transfer with the summer window coming up.
Would Aarons start for Everton?
Manchester United have scouted him and they will decide in the next few months if they want to pursue his signature, while Bayern Munich are not convinced about his €35m (£30.3m) price tag after opening initial talks with him.
Aarons would certainly be an ideal long-term successor to Seamus Coleman, and it looks as if things may be moving for the Merseyside club in terms of trying to sign the England youth international.
Nonetheless, Carlo Ancelotti’s team will have to match the asking price of the Canaries if they are serious about securing his signature.
