Everton: Fans laud Fabrizio Romano’s news on Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure

Plenty of Everton fans have been lauding the transfer news coming from Fabrizio Romano as he shared it on his official Twitter page.
As per the journalist and reporter, the Toffees are back in talks with SSC Napoli to sign Allan and Watford ace Abdoulaye Doucoure is also on their shortlist for possible players to sign in the summer window.
Who should Everton sign?
Allan

Doucoure

Romano also confirmed that Carlo Ancelotti strongly wants a midfielder, and these two seem to fit the bill.
Indeed, Allan has been the talk of Goodison Park in this window, as the Blues will be hoping that a deal can finally be done for the Brazilian, however, a recent report has claimed that they may face competition from Borussia Dortmund for his services.
On the other hand, Doucoure may well be a cheaper alternative given that the Hornets were relegated from the Premier League to the EFL Championship in the 2019/20 season, but again they may face competition for his signature, this time from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Both central midfield players would arguably improve EFC in the middle of the park, given that both Allan and Doucoure averaged more tackles and key passes than regulars Tom Davies and Andre Gomes in their respective domestic leagues in the last campaign, according to Whoscored.
These supporters lauded the news on Twitter:
