Many Everton fans have been reacting to a transfer claim on Bernard coming from the player’s agent Adriano Spadoto.
Speaking to LaRoma24, Spadoto claimed that they tried to convince the Merseyside club to let the Brazil international leave Goodison Park amid interest from Serie A outfit AS Roma.

He was also asked if there was a possibility that Bernard could leave the Toffees in the January transfer window, to which he replied that it was possible that he could be sold for around €7m, which is the equivalent of roughly £6.4m.

Despite not playing in a single minute in the Premier League so far this season, the 28-year old could still be a useful squad player to Carlo Ancelotti if Everton were to be blighted by injuries to their wide players.
